The Offnominal engineering open house returns this spring. For one day, our test sites and integration facilities open to students, early career engineers, and anyone curious about how launch and orbital systems get built.
Who it is for
The open house is aimed at people thinking about a career in aerospace, but you do not need a degree in progress to attend. Past visitors have included high school robotics teams, university rocketry clubs, machinists, software developers, and career changers from other industries.
What you will see
Visitors will be able to:
- Tour a propulsion test stand and the control room that runs it
- Walk through an integration hall where vehicles are assembled and checked out
- Try hands-on demos from our avionics and flight software teams
- Talk with engineers about what their day actually looks likeSessions run throughout the day, and each tour is led by the people who work in that space. Expect noise, safety glasses, and a lot of questions answered by the engineers who wrote the test procedures, not by a script.
Meet the teams hiring now
We have open roles in propulsion, avionics, and flight software, along with technician and test positions at several sites. Hiring managers will be at the open house to talk about current openings, internships, and what we look for in a candidate.
If you are building something on your own time, bring it. Some of our best conversations at past events started with a student showing us a project.
How to attend
Attendance is free, but space on tours is limited. Registration opens next month on our careers page. If you want a reminder, send a note to careers@offnominal.example and we will let you know when it opens.
Build what has not flown yet. We would like to meet you.
